Gaijin happy hour runs Tuesday through Thursday from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. The venue features deals on both food and drinks during happy hour, including cocktail specials. Gaijin by Chef Paul Virant is Chicago's first and only dedicated okonomiyaki and kakigori restaurant, specializing in Hiroshima and Osaka style savory Japanese pancakes. The bar program showcases highballs and a focused selection of beer including a Moody Tongue-Gaijin collaboration house lager, sake, Japanese whisky, and wine. Located in West Loop/Fulton Market at 950 W Lake St. The venue has a patio and offers a lively interactive culinary experience with a custom 12-foot griddle and individual Hiroshima teppan griddles for table service.
